Uniting to reverse the foster care wait list in Washington, DC
No child should grow up without a loving home. There are around 1,300 children in DC foster care, and hundreds of children within this waiting to be adopted. DC127 is reversing the wait list by recruiting and supporting foster and adoptive families.
DC127, together with two pastors in our network created 9-prayer points to help guide this time of prayer. There is nothing more powerful than the Church coming together across a city to protest injustice by prayer, asking our holy God to make his righteousness known and to move, by his people, in our communities.
Prayer is the foundation of our work at DC127. With National Foster Care month happening in May, DC127 created a 4-Week Prayer Guide to help you intentionally seek God every day in prayer as we trust Him to move in powerful ways in families, churches, and the foster care system in Washington D.C.
