DC127 recently hosted a family fun day and back-to-school giveaway for families in our CFF and Foster FAM programs. Families came out to the District Church Ministry Center to enjoy activities, collect back-to-school supplies donated by Grace Capitol City, and hang out with their favorite television characters. Captain America and Princess Tiana presented sparkle tattoos, sing-a-longs, and backyard games with families. Parents, volunteers, and DC127 staff were also able to connect in-person for the first time in over a year. DC127 Executive Director Cynthia Moreland stated, "Our 1st Family Fun Day was a wonderful example of the church stepping in to fill a need.  Thank you to Grace Capital City for your continued generosity." We are proud to work with our church and community partners to continue serving families in the District.
